The Chalet Rachy-Dessous is situated on the outskirts of the forest on a vast plot of land in an alpine agricultural area on the northern slope of the valley. It enjoys plenty of sunlight in the morning and a magnificent view of the village of Les Diablerets. Accessible by car, it’s less than a kilometre away from the railway station and the post office.
The all-wood interior enjoys plenty of natural light. On the upper ground floor, the biggest, brightest room is home to a large and thoughtfully laid out living and dining room. An open-plan kitchen adjoins the dining room. On the same floor, there are another two rooms, one of which has a hatch in the ceiling for loft access. You can access the balcony from inside and outside.
The first floor offers two fully north-east-facing bedrooms, two more bedrooms facing the opposite side, balcony access, a shower room (with toilet and shower) and a bathroom (with bathtub). There is also a small storage room and a ceiling hatch for access to the main loft.
Central heating: an oil boiler can be found in one of the cellars on the basement level. There is a wood furnace in the large room on the upper ground floor for additional heating.
The chalet is connected to the electricity and water networks. There is also a 21-m2 covered and secured workshop near the chalet that belongs to the property.
